Our most important resource at Gomero is our coworkers, as we are convinced that sustainability and success begin with the individual. Get to know Magnus Haraldsson!

Why would people want to work at Gomero would you say?

What stands out the most is probably that Gomero as a company cares about you in a way I have not experienced in other workplaces. They invest in all coworkers so that we feel happy and well both at work and in private. In addition to that, it is a varied workplace where you get a lot of freedom with responsibility. I never have to feel that coming to work is boring.

What does sustainability mean to you?

A quote I remember is “a change you can live with for the rest of your life”. That is to say, the choices I make throughout my life must last long-term, whether it concerns health, the environment or the economy. That’s exactly how I started thinking since we started working with sustainability at Gomero. I have found motivation, drive and an understanding of how everything is connected and how I can do myself and others a favor by developing.

Describe what a typical day looks like for you?

It’s hard to describe a typical day because it’s so varied, some days I’m in the office and other days I’m out in the field. That’s exactly what I like about my job! When I’m away I get to see new places and meet new people, and when I’m in the office I get to hang out with my colleagues which is just as fun.

Tell us about an extra fun memory you have!

A memory that comes to mind is a project we had together with a French company many years ago. I then had to go on service work together with a French service technician, but he did not speak a word of English and of course I spoke just as little French. It was a challenge to say the least, but still fun how we made it work.
