Gomero joins accelerator program in Southeast Asia

Gomero has been accepted into the "Business Accelerator Program South East Asia" (BAPSEA). The program, which has a demanding selection process, is run in collaboration with the Swedish Energy Agency and Business Sweden and focusses on companies with a strong energy and sustainability profile. The aim is to contribute to reduced emissions and sustainable development, while at the same time benefiting Swedish exports and jobs.

Gomero's participation in BAPSEA is part of the company's strategic investment to grow its international reach, targeting countries that have a requirement to modernize electricity grids, streamline maintenance work and increase operational reliability.

The accelerator program is aimed at small and medium-sized companies with innovative solutions in energy and sustainability. Southeast Asia is an attractive destination for international investment. However, it is also one of the most vulnerable regions to climate change, and its greenhouse gas emissions are increasing daily. By participating in the program, Swedish environmental technology companies have the opportunity to enter a new, dynamic market and be part of the journey towards the realization of a sustainable energy system in Southeast Asia.

The program runs for 18 months, which includes expert advice from Business Sweden and delegation trips where companies have the opportunity to introduce themselves and network with decision makers and representatives from the local business community. The participating companies may choose 1-2 priority markets in Southeast Asia to focus on during the program period.
